Project Status
The bids are currently undergoing technical evaluation, which is expected to take a few months. Once completed, the financial bids of the technically qualified companies will be opened to determine the lowest bidder and the contractor for the package.
Among all three underground packages of the Golden Line (DC-07, DC-08, and DC-09), Package DC-09 is the most advanced in construction. Larsen & Toubro has already completed four out of ten planned tunnel breakthroughs. The latest breakthrough, involving Tunnel Boring Machine DZ1123 (TBM-2), took place last Saturday.
